How FriendsOffice Supports Local Schools

2 min

Everyone at FriendsOffice shows an obvious commitment to providing the right supplies to local schools across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Every person on the team is committed to unique service standards. For example, there's diligence in the way products are delivered, services are provided, and programs are offered. The organization has proven time and again how it supports local schools.

One key aspect that sets FriendsOffice apart is its approach to back-to-school bulk orders. Unlike other vendors who deliver mismatched orders by the palette, the team individually packages each order by the teacher's classroom. This streamlined process eliminates the need for schools, administrators, and teachers to sort through orders, simplifying logistics and removing unnecessary legwork.

Additionally, FriendsOffice supports some of the largest school systems in a quad-state radius by providing samples, on-call furniture designers, and industry-leading chemical and janitorial experts. These resources go beyond basic supplies, enhancing the overall learning environment and supporting collective educational excellence. It’s just a friendlier way of doing things…

When possible, FriendsOffice jumps at the chance to be a part of community outreach initiatives that support local students, teachers, and our schools. We’ve provided new office chairs to teachers through contests, we’ve provided samples and classroom supplies for partner fairs, and we’ve supplied hundreds of thousands of products for initiatives like “Stuff-the-Bus” so that all students can begin the school year prepared with supplies.

One unique initiative invites educators to share their vision for more enriched classroom experiences through thoughtful essays. Selected teachers not only receive recognition but also the supplies they requested, making a tangible impact on their daily lessons.

This annual grant is called The WRITE Program. The WRITE Program recognizes the constant struggle for essential supplies in our classrooms and for our students, and FriendsOffice takes pride in providing this kind of support. It’s heartwarming to see the smiles on the teachers and their students’ faces! The program is also made possible through national vendor partners like Crayola, Newell Brands, HON, Safco, Pentel, Smead, Purell, Lorell, and more. Since its inception in 2012, the program has donated over $25,000 worth of classroom supplies, furniture, and technology.

In summary, FriendsOffice loves working with schools and their infallible service standards, product offerings, and unique program offerings stand as a testament to the power of community and collaboration in fostering a thriving learning environment. Through its commitment to supporting educators, empowering classrooms, and streamlining logistics, FriendsOffice ensures that no teacher or student goes without the tools they need for success.
