Friends Business Source has outstanding career opportunities for aggressive – income driven Sales Representatives in its Office Supply Division, within the Columbus, Ohio market and surrounding area. Friends Business Source is the largest, Ohio Independently owned Office Product Dealer.
Successful candidate must be highly organized, self – directed, maintain excellent communication and customer service skills, maintain unquestionable integrity, and be an overall team player. Will be required to grow and maintain an account base through cold calls, and professional correspondences. Must present self in a professional manner at all times. Basic computer skills required.
Job Objective:
Duties:
- Initiates business opportunities by identifying prospects via telephone contacts, face to face cold calling.
- Identifying market potential by qualifying accounts and customer information.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential customers, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections and preparing contracts.
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new applications.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products.
- Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results, company needs, and competitor’s offers.
- Keeps supervisor informed by submitting activity reports, monthly reports, territory analyses.
- Attend all company and departmental team meetings and participate in educational opportunities, professional publications, establishing personal networks
- Maintain customer relations and represent Company with high integrity.
- Maintain customer’s data in company’s required data bank (contact manager system), prepare customer’s proposals as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self confidence, Product knowledge, presentation and computer skills, client relationships, motivation for sales.
Education: College degree preferred. Prior experience taken into consideration.
