Nancy Sarson has specialized in the School Market for over 15 years. She has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the school industry. She thoroughly understands the unique purchasing cycles and demands of her school partners.

Nancy shares a partnership with her educators and works as a consultant to help them find products which not only enhance their students learning process but adheres to the many budget limitations educators face daily.

As the previous owner of Allen Resources, Nancy brings to her customers much more than just sales experience. As a CPA, she has worked closely with school districts on cost containment issues whether they are a Central-Based purchasing system or a Site-Based system.

Nancy has extensive bid experience, purchasing and product knowledge. She has helped numerous districts find cost saving alternatives to products without sacrificing quality. She understands the hectic and busy lives of educators.

Nancy works daily to make their lives a little less stressful, a little bit easier and a little more cost effective by helping them find the products they need while helping stretch their budget dollars.

Phil Gunder has been involved in education for the past five years. He taught in the Findlay City School District for close to four years as a substitute teacher and the 8th grade Social Studies teacher at Glenwood Middle School.

Phil then worked at North Baltimore Schools where he was a varsity football assistant coach and Study Hall Monitor. He is still involved in the educational system as his wife is a first grade teacher at Van Buren Local Schools.

Phil has a true understanding of what educators deal with on a day to day basis. As a past educator, he comprehends the purchasing and budgeting demands that a school district goes through. He then uses this knowledge as he consults with local school districts in regards to their office and school supply buying.

Phil’s goal as the new School Specialist for Friends Business Source is to provide cost effective solutions for educators thus assisting them
